Paperblanks Poetry in Bloom Grande Hardcover Sketchbook

Poetry in Bloom design was crafted by Riviere and Son and made with green morocco within fillets of gilt.  The centerpiece is a sensitive plant surroudered by chambers of snowdrops and contrasting flowers, foliage and butterflies.  The Senstive plant or 'Shy" plant has leaves that shrink away from the touch.  It closes tight in the dark and opens to the light.  The original binding was used for The Sensitive Plant and Early Poems by Percy Bysshe Shelley. 

This Paperblanks Sketchbook opens flat for ease of use in both landscape and portrait layout. Its letter size paper has a very nice 200 gsm paperweight and will handle different kinds of writing and drawing utensils without bleed.
