Region & Artistry
Sefano Roselli - Stefano Roselli was born in Italy in 1957. He got his artistic start in 1972 when he began to mold candle and wax. After gaining many years of experience and learning from other master molders, he transitioned to ceramics and began working at one of VIETRI’s dearest factories. Stefano quickly learned the details and nuances of various clays and ceramics. He was soon recognized as an exceptionally innovative and gifted molder, and in 1989, he became a maestro molder himself. Now, he leads the creative design process for many of our collections. A true artist, Stefano’s work is also his passion. He is most at home when he has clay on his hands and his sketches for possible designs scattered across his workspace. During his free time, he sculpts Renaissance and Roman-inspired bas-reliefs for his home.
Tuscany - A region in central Italy, Tuscany is known for its landscapes, history, craftsmanship, and influence on culture. The birthplace of the Renaissance, Tuscany is often called the art palace of Italy, and many of the world's greatest works of art come from this region.
