Palermo occupies a 1920s brick storefront with original hardwood floors, tall windows, and a pressed-tin ceiling we refinished by hand. The front room is our café — a long marble bar, a few small tables, and a window seat that catches the morning sun.
The back room holds our gift boutique: shelves of ceramics, candles, and linen goods arranged like a private cabinet of curiosities. In front, a quiet courtyard with potted citrus and iron café chairs offers outdoor seating most of the year.
Getting Here
From the 101
Take the Ventura Ave exit heading south. Turn left on Main Street. We are two blocks east on the right, just past the mission arcade.
From the Coast
Head inland on California St or Thompson Blvd, then turn north on Oak Street. Main Street is one block up. Look for the sage-green door.
By Train
The Pacific Surfliner stops at Ventura station, a ten-minute walk along the promenade and up California Street to Main.
